HELP. Expert advice needed for washing machine repair

Hi. I won't go into too much detail. But I replaced the drum bearings on a Hotpoint WMA35. Hard job, but successfully done. BUT now the darn thing won't spin. I think I may have replaced some wires in the wrong place on the control board... Anyone think they may know anything please say and I will give further info..... Cheers
