Overpaid my student credit card, what do I do?

Hi I have managed to overpay my Natwest credit card - I paid off the full balance two weeks before it was due but they decided it was still necessary to take the minimum payment off the last statemtn by direct debit, so I am now in credit on my credit card!

What should I do? If I just use the card to buy something of the amount I am in credit they wont start asking me to pay that back too/charge interest on it? I have now cancelled the minimum payment direct debit, dont intend to use the card for a while now.

Anyone else been in the same situation? What is the easiest thing to do that wont cost me anymore money?

Thanks

  • If you call them, they should be able to refund...crazy people hmm?

  • Much less hassle IMO to just spend the credit.
