I have had some incredible service from Currys. I bought a Sanyo vacuum cleaner from Currys online in February and when I tried to use it it made funny noises.

I called Currys online and they told me to either book to have the courier come back and collect it for an exchange or take it to my local store who would change it.

My local store changed it without any fuss even though it was £20 dearer in store than it was online.

The new vacuum cleaner didn't make the funny noise but it's performance was poor, infinitely worse than my previous vacuum cleaner. I eventually got fed up today with trying to vacuum the hallway and called Sanyo. I explained that everything was working but it just didn't seem to perform very well and after getting me to check a few things Sanyo told me that Currys had taken over the warranty so to take the cleaner back to them.

I've just taken back my 3 month old vacuum expecting a problem only to be offered an immediate replacement or even a swap to a new model if I wanted! There was no fuss and no argument and I am very impressed.

I found the cheapest available Dyson Animal Vaccuum online today,printed off the page and asked them to match it ::)

You'd of thought I was offering to pay double ::)
A very nice gent coudn't of been more helpful,put it "through " at the lower price,carried it to checkout and then carried it to the car ;D ;D

We're about to buy a new washing machine and some online stores have a lower price than Currys, but high delivery charges (as high as £50 in some cases ).

Will Currys match the price of the item, or only the total price including delivery?

How about combining a 7.5% discount off the Currys online price for your washing machine with free delivery?!

Choose the washing machine you want from their site (with the 'add to basket' button) then in the promotional code box add DCBYAW for your discount and click on 'update'. Then type AFF_FRDEL04 in the same box and 'update' again for free delivery (normally 19.99 on washing machines).

Take note though that the free delivery offer ends the moment England get knocked out of Euro 2004 so you have until Thursday evening (at least !) to make your purchase !

I'll be surprised if that price doesn't beat what you've seen on those other websites. Bear in mind that they are bumping up their seemingly wafer-thin profits with those exorbitant delivery charges.
