  • I can't really help on hours and money as it varies so greatly. Sometimes i have nothing else to do, other times i'm so busy with other things that i ignore all my survey invites.

What i personally do is use it as xmas shopping money. Some sites have very high payouts (£50) others very low, but your going to get the money, but don't "rely" on it for something specific.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

I just got my first email after signing up to around 4 websites this morning. I did not qualify, very sad :( but it would've been for £1.12.

    It was with crowdology

I hate to say it, but I think a lot of it is scams. They probably only need a few questions from you, then make it out like you didn't "qualify".
  • I generally get about £100/year from surveys and I don't consider myself very dedicated - I sometimes don't bother with them at all for a couple of months at a time for various reasons - health probs, too busy, bored...

That's just from the surveys - I'm not counting where the survey turns out to be a screener for a focus group - I don't get many of those, but the ones I've done have paid £10-£15 for an hour of my time (online, I think face-to-face ones pay more?). As I said, I'm not been very dedicated, so I've only picked up about 3 of those per year.

snowqueen555 - I don't think it's that there isn't a survey for you to take, I think some companies just try to wring as much info out of the people who don't qualify as they can, without having to pay out :( Some companies are worse than others for that sort of thing, and I avoid some of them because of that.
  • I've done a more comprehensive list if anybody needs the info.

Yeah, my post has been removed twice but don't know why
misssarahleigh can ask people to visit your referral link via referral forum

Don't quite understand what you mean. The post was made in the referral forum and of all the information i gave there was only one referral link.

Edit: Ah, see you have changed it to can't. Think i know what you mean now. SHall try removing the one referral

I posted mine just after you quoted this, my apologies, i was unaware of that specific clause. (post now removed)

And i'm only trying to be helpful since so many people ask about survey sites. I would have loved something like i had written when i first started, which is why i did it.

Don't really see the harm myself as i've made everything totally clear, but hey ho, thats the rule.

BTW, i put it on the referrers board and up my income as people will obviously look at the up my income for this type of thing. I want my post to be helpful so is it only that i say, "pm me" thats the problem? or am i infringing in any other way?

I always thought answering surveys for money was the sort of job that loads of people would like, but actually they don't really exist. Is that right?
