Lloyds Classic Plus

Does a Lloyds Classic account automatically get upgraded to a Plus account if you start paying in £1,000 a month, or do you have to go to a branch request an upgrade? If it is automatic, how many consecutive months do you have to pay the £1,000 in?
Thanks
Thanks

You can do it online
You can have a plus account but not pay in the £1000, but you will only get the higher rate of credit interest if you have paid in the £1000

No you have to do it either in branch or by telephone but it is easier to do it via Internet banking.0

Thanks all
Another question...
I have had a current (not plus) account for around three months. I have never had any interest paid. It would only be pennies a month (around £200 balance at 0.10%), but the Lloyds website definitely says that interest is paid monthly. Any idea why this would be?Other information about interest
We calculate interest on the cleared credit or debit balance in your account at the end of every day. We pay or charge this interest to your account each month, at the end of the first working day of the next month."0 -
If you had £200 ststic balance in there and left it you would get around 1.6 pence gross per month.0

Hi,
I want to apply for an Overdraft on my LTSB account. Couple of questions:-
1. How quick LTSB are in requesting Overdraft facility?
2. Do they carry out any credit check or is it simple account score?
Thanks

Hi,
Its automatic, so when you phone or do it in the branch its straight away. Over internet banking I *think* it takes a while longer.
And yes they credit check you.
Hope this helps :-):staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0
