Do you think this is a good idea for ebay??

Yes yopu are right. I have added to my site everything up front so the seller knows. ie the comission the minimum amount of an item I will sell (£15), I have also created an easy to understand table of the ebay fees for adding an item and comission depending on the sale price. So if somebody does contact me via the web then at least they know what % they will be getting back on average - depending on how much the item sells for. I have started on 25% commission up to £500 items then I have added a sliding scale for items between £500.01 > £999 etc. I have reviwed other sites and alot are charging 35% but I personally felt that that was too high and may put potential customers off.0
