Hotel Chocolate box of chocs £3 with cash back

Hotel Chocolate are doing a very similar offer to the one they did before.

You can join the Hotel Chocolate tasting club and get a box of 34 chocolates for £9.95.

Topcashback are offering £6.95 cash back for this offer, making the chocolates just £3.

Quidco are offering £5 cash back, so its obviously not as good. Ive not checked any other cash back websites.

You can read the old thread here to find out how others got on with this offer in the past:

I don't know whether im suppose to make a new thread for this or whether i was suppose to bump the old thread, but as this is a slightly different offer (the chocs cost a different amount and you can get a different amount of cash back compared to the old offer and i dont think this new offer contains the liquid chocolate) i decided to make a new thread to save confusion on prices. Please merge if necessary.

  • Just make sure you cancel the asap if you dont want to sign-up.
I did this just before xmas and tehy sent me a box out before they were due.
I sent them back but they still tried to charge me for me until i called them today and explained that I didn't request the secondbox, it was sent out early and had been sent back - it was an awful lot of a lot of hassle :(

Unless it's changed here is how you cancel...

    Go to 'Manage my membership'
Underneath the 'Balance to Pay' column there are two links. Pick the one that says 'more info'.
    Then click 'cancel membership'.
Then select from the drop-down the best reason which describes why you want to stop receiving chocolates.
    Click okay!

  • Thanks Blobby8 - I'll try that now!
  • It has changed since the original thread. You have to call up to cancel now. If you follow Blobby8's instructions it now just gives you a number to rang. I ordered my chocs way back when the original thread was started, but only received my chocs last week as i opted to wait for ages and get the 'elements' choc. I gotta say, i was a bit disappointed with the quality. Ive had loads of Hotel Choc stuff before (but not for quite a while), so either they have gone downhill or they just used cheap choc for the boxes they sent out. Still, cant really complain since i only paid like 35p for it or whatever.

By the way, it was simple to cancel by phone, the guy didnt even offer to ask if i wanted to change the frequency of when the boxes are sent out :)

Just make sure that if you have gone ahead with this offer to change the frequency to 3 months to avoid being sent another box and having to pay the full price.

anyone know an email address to cancel with them?
  • I also need to cancel and have previously done this online. I set up a new account in my husbands name and have sent an email to request a cancellation through this link :-
