Am I entitled to anything???

My girlfriend and I are expecting our first baby in May this year and I was wondering what benefits, if anything we would be entitled to?
We both work full time (myself for local government and my girlfriend is a carer assistant for the NHS) with a combined income of around £38k. When my girlfriend returns to work she will be going back part time doing 30 hours a week.
Any help is most appreciated.

Put your details into the above calculators for an idea of what you may be entitled to.
The NHS has a good occupational maternity pay scheme so it's worth looking at her contract to see what she's entitled to.
At the very least she'll get SMP if she meets the eligibility criteria, otherwise she'll have to claim Maternity Allowance.

After the birth you'll get Child Benefit and I think Child Tax Credit
