I tried to do this with Nortern Rock as Id just changed job and my new boss had missed the payroll date. Northern Rock wouldnt let me but they did allow me to move my payment date from the first of the month to the 24th. It gave my employer time to pay me by cheque.0

Anyone know if Nationwide will do it?SIMPLE SIMON - Met a pie man going to the fair. Said Simple Simon to the pie man, "What have you got there?" Said the pie man unto Simon, "Pies, you simpleton!"0

As a one-off, surely using a credit card cheque would allow this if there was an exeptional reason why money was delayed for a month - but this will incurs fees etc (except for cards like the Co-Op Clear Visa card).0

Highly unlikely as they would see it as borrowing to make the payment on borrowing.0 -
Generaly 99% of the time borrowing to pay borrowing makes for a great big complicated mess somewhere down the line. This is why i asked why the Op wanted to do this.If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

Oh well! Pity it would have been worth about £45 in Amazon vouchers per year to me.

Simply as my mortgage is my biggest expense/payment - easiest way to gain rewards/ take advantage interest free promotions.
Anybody know of any reguler bills that allow paying by credit card? (eg. electric, gas, council tax etc.)?0
