I posted on here last night about a website that a friend asked us to get some vouchers for for their new baby girl and the thread has been deleted.

    Youve been a member long enough here to know not to come up with stufff like that, sarcasm is ugly, and, although I didnt see the thread there must have been something in it that warranted it being deleted.

    Was it your own website, if so, then you have answered your own question.

    Don't take it too hard. Anyone selling fake ugg boots, Ipods at great price$$$$$ and the rest will find their posts deleted and probably say exactly what you said above. It is just the price of keeping the site spam free and I hope you will accept the deletion as a small price to pay for actually having a community which is not inundated with spam.

    But it wasnt a link to fake ugg boots etc etc etc, it was to a photographers website, I can't see how it can be classed as spam, she only does local shoots so it wouldn't even be relevant to 99% of the board. I was just showing peeps the pictures!

    Dont know if you got to see the replies to the thread before it got shut but a few us were saying we werent keen on the pics as the babies dont look comfortable etc, plus it would be seen as advertising which we're not allowed to do, even if it isnt relevant to 99% of the board. HTH

    I Didn't see the replies, but everyone is entitles to their own opinion. As for saying they don't look comfortable. Do you really think they would sleep like it if they weren't and they were far more squashed up in the womb

    It was advertising, you should know the rules ask permission first.

    If you had posted it on a relevant thread like the pregnancy thread or parenting i'm sure it would still be here but it did look like blatant advertising which was why so many probably clicked it as spam.
