Cleaning up old Debts

Hello everyone,

I have noted that the unenforceable letters and templates have been removed. I have 2 DCA that are chasing me for debts that are over 10 years old, however the debts are still showing up in my credit file. I want to write to these creditors to do three things

1. I want to ask them to offer me a reduced settlement figure based on the fact that the debt is unenforceable.
2. Confirm that once the debt has be paid off they will reomved all default notices from my record (which I have been told you must ask them to ensure it is done)
3. On reciept of a positive reply I want to enter a payment plan with them directly.

However with the template letters gone I dont have a good platform to start from as those letters had some very specfic information in them that was handy to include. Can anyone offer copies of those letters or something like that?

Unenforceable due to what? Being statute barred, or lack of enforceable credit agreement?

When did they default you?
