cotton traders quality

I bought a pair of trainer type shoes back in may which have hardly been worn yet the soles have worn through, both heels have collapsed, and they soak water up like a sponge!!
I emailed to complain because they were supposed to be good quality:p ?? at a reduced price and the only reply I,ve had is an automated reply telling me how busy they are----surprise,surprise:rolleyes:

The moral must be that you get what you pay for, but I shant buy from them again and would advise others not to!!;)

I've had tons of stuff from cotton traders, especially their shoes, and I've never had a problem with them. So I would always recommend their products, but from your experience it sounds like their customer service is very lacking. Why not try phoning them instead to see if you can get a better response?
When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.

It was customer services that got back to me and they obviously dont want to contact me again. I don't intend to use my time chasing them,I just won't get any more stuff from them.;)

Thats not the point. If stuff is sold it should be of merchantable quality and fit for purpose.

If they don't give a refund go to trading standards.

Fair enough, but if I'd had something that shoddy I'd want my money back.

It sounds to me like they will reply properly, but have sent the auto reply as a courtesy to let you know there will be a short delay.

Why not wait until you have actually heard from them before taking it any further? They have not refused you a refund. If you are not even willing to pick up the phone to call them then Trading Standards are not going to be interested.

This is the vent board and I've vented:mad: --I don't expect to get anything from cotton traders.;) I bought online/complained online.
I've no intention of getting more stress and wasting my life phoning a company that sells cr*p
I wont shop there again and I just wanted to make other people aware that the goods "can" be rubbish ,and that the customer service is as bad!
