We use Barclaycard now but Allied Irish Bank via an American data handler and UK terminal supplier are offering better rates. Has anyone used them - they want 4 year contract

Is it worth seeing if Barclaycard will meet their rates to stop you defecting? Best of all worlds that way.0

That was the next step but wanted info re AIB as a backstop0

Have you tried Cardsave?
Not sure I'd want to be tied into a 4 year contract with anyone for anything in business, I did sign up with BT for 3 years to get line installation costs down but wouldn't sign for more than 1 year for anything else.0 -
Thanks paulwf. Will try Cardsave and then try negotiating with Barclaycard. Apart from being 4 year contracts you have to have 2 diff contracts, one with AIB for the processing (which is done by First data of USA) and another for the card machine - I prefer to have one supplier to shout at if it goes wrong not 3 under 2 contracts!0
