Refunds from Debenhams?

I ordered an item on 1st Jan.
It came approx week later.
Didn't like it, so called the following day...courier collected it next day after that, so by then it was probably 10th or so maybe?
I have called them 4 or 5 times, 1st 2 times I was told my refund would be applied within 14 WORKING days, which it hadn't been, so I waited again...
Then called 3rd time, to be told that he will pass my query on to the refunds dept.....and they will call within 72 hours...
They never called....
I called again and spoke to what seemed like a very helpful lady, who explained the system well and understood I was very mad....and simply said there was nothing she could do that evening but would send it as a priority to be dealt with next few days (which was beginning of this week...) and that by the end of the week I should have either had a phone call or my refund...
AND I'M STILL WAITING!!!!
Has anyone else had to wait so ridiculously long for a refund? I have always been happy with their deliveries and store service but I'm appalled at my recent experience. I am going to send a formal complaint this weekend as I'm disgusted. Its £30 I've been waiting for, for what seems like a month!

Thats very disappointing customer service
I had a bit of bother trying to return blinds last month, but a call to head office got it sorted. I put the customer returns helpline number on the return form section that you keep, into saynoto0870.com and used whatever landline number came up (dont have a record of it now) Try them tomorrow and see what they say . 0
