Get out the yellow pages and ring round the local one-man band places. Don't go anywhere near Kwik Fit and the likes! When you ring, give them the sizes and tell them you want a budget brand. They're basically all the same anway as they have to comply to the same safety ratings.

I do use a chain company called protyre their prices were less than half of kwikfit!

Have a ring round a few suppliers in your area let them know your best price and if they want your business they'll beat it

costco are doing 20% off michelin tyres , if you buy 4 of them.
Brings the price of my tyres down from around £70 from mytyres , etc down to around £50 inc valve, balancing and fitting

I hear that Costco are pretty cheap for tyres too, but haven't been there myself yet.
