Welcome Refer me to broker

Hope you good people on here can advise me on my next step. Have followed procedure for reclaiming PPI from Welcome. I have now been informed that after eight weeks of waiting that my claim is not with them but with the broker that put me through to Welcome for the loan. I have a Loan agreement drawn up by Welcome and signed by them. Surely my loan is with them as they sold it to me over the phone after being transferred to them by the broker. What course should i take or is this a stalling tactic by Welcome. The Broker firm number they supplied does not connect quite handily! Please can anyone help? Many thanks

Hiya

I know this can be confusing, did you get the details of the broker.

A broker is the ones who pass you on to a lender and the they also arrange the loan for you, yet your details will be those of the lender and you repay the lender, but the broker is the one responsible, if you have the details then write to them.
The paperwork is normally of the lenders too.
If you do not have these Welcome should hold these details.

Thanks for the lightning response, have tried looking up Bright finance on the web all i get is a home page but all links are broken. Only paperwork i have is from welcome,issued after discussing loan with them on phone. I have no correspondence from Bright Finance.
