EDF Quidco Cashback
Options
Hi,
I applied to transfer my Gas & Electric from Atlantic to EDF Saver 7.
My Gas tfrd on 16/12 & Electric on 06/12. My quidco cashback still showing as tracked and not validated.
I rang EDF yesterday and my Electric is on Saver 7 and £75 has been applied. When I asked about the Gas account - Gas was on their standard tariff - the person manually changed it to Saver 7 and applied £25 to the account.
Not sure possibly that’s the reason why my Quidco still showing as tracked? and not validated as yet.
Anyone else had this problem with EDF being on different tariff and cashback not being validated - has been validated once the tariff has been changed?
Don’t want to loose out with £80 cashback because of EDF error.

I just read the help stuff on Quidco. Sometimes a transaction will stay at tracked until it changes to received meaning that Quidco has the money. It might never go to validated. They also say that they try to change to received by three months.
Mine's been three months now and still not saying received.0 -
starM - mine didn't track at all, raised a query, quoted the account number (available from EDF by phone), they approved it and it has finally gone to validated after several months. My transfer was in october, went validated a few weeks ago.

@hex2: good to see that they seem to finally pay. My transfer was in October, first rejected but claim was successful in January. Still waiting for the money and starting do have some doubts. What do you call "validated" exactly? do you mean "Confirmed" or "tracked" (in which case we are on the same boat)?0

I think Quidco has changed their terminology now so you can't compare with us back then. I got paid a long time ago so you should raise a query with them.0

Similar boat to you guys, mine didnt track so had to ring edf and get the ref and then put a query in via quidco. The claim was successful 6 months ago but status not even set to validated. Sent another query today and was told its definitely validated but they have no time scale for payment.0

Dear Forum ,
Just for interest my transfer to EDF's Online Saver 7 timescale was as follows :
23/11/10 Signed up
16/12/10 Electric transferred
06/02/11 Gas transferred
14/03/11 EDF £100 Welcome Bonus credited to accounts
15/03/11 Quidco £75 cashback paid
The EDF administration appears to be chaotic , however not malicious although I've still not received a gas bill , so I'm potentially not yet out of the woods ,
Best Wishes
