Megabus fare hike

Im not sure if there is a problem with there website but ive been checking fares for Manchester to Newcastle and most seats at now at £10 to £12 but its not cause the coach is near full as i put in for 30 seats and there was seats at £10 each when up till a few days ago all seats would not go any higher then £6 each even if there was only 1 seat left on the coach.

they are not so cheap now.

Don't expect to get thirty seats dirt cheap.

Probably best to book singly.
That way you will get the cheapest tickets until that price sells out. Then the next cheapest... etc.

I know that but what im saying is that i booked 1 seat at a £1(they only have 1 seat at that price on every coach) so am the 1st person to book on that service then i booked another seat on the same service and it went up to £10 so am number 2 on that coach but before this week the next price band was £5 then when they have sold out it went up to £6 and never went any higher but now it looks like the bands are £1 then £10 then £12.

the max that anyone would pay before this week would be £6.
