I would like this money to be in a seperate savings account. Can you open another savings account, using the same saivng account type?

so 2 savings accounts (1 already open), and another one, under these same name?

1 flexisaver (already one)
2 flexisaver (new one)

  • If with the same bank, then that's up to the bank.

If you are talking about savings accounts generally, you can have as many as you like. I have about thirty!

Includes those for my wife (tax reasons).

    2 year bond
    1 year bond
    Close Brothers 3.2% notice
    Investec notice account
Nationwide Mysave (High interest but no withdrawals)
    Post Office (High Interest)
    Cash ISA
    Regular Saver Bank A
    Regular Saver Bank B
    ........... etc. etc.

Each has a purpose. Have to keep below £85K. Some are a bit dormant waiting for the time they have good offers (to save identification rubbish...)

[Use 'Quicken' to manage my money. Easy!]

Same here - not accounts, but organisations. Spring clean, methinks, get rid of the dregs.
