Letter to the bank

You write to the bank first but before you get too exited - the banks have 21 days to decide to ask the court whether they can appeal the decision.dolphin_m70 wrote: »hi all

hi all
thanks for the replies, already written to the bank, but only got the letter that the decision is on hold. i am about to send the form to the FOS , just one quick question. what all relevant douments do i need to send , do i need to send the letter i sent to the bank (post #1) and also the reply they sent me and what else.
thanks0 -
The position is that you cannot go to the Financial Ombudsman until the firm has given either
- a final response or letter of deadlock letter
- or 8 weeks have passed since your complaint was received by the firm
Best Regards

Don't worry too much if they don't deduct the tax at source it will be difficult for HMRC to find out about it.
Keep all paperwork and copy of the cheque for at least 6 years just in case.0 -
