Need 3 months bank statements fast? RBS

Need to send the Luton Council 3 months of bank statements..my bank, RBS, being the incompetent fools they are, can't even print out 3 months worth of statements in branch and stamp them. She managed a measly 1 weeks worth and stamped that.
If I print out the rest from my online banking, and send it with the stamped one, will it pass?
Thanks

No they can't.
I asked a few weeks ago, when applying for a discretionary grant, there is a new rule about 1 sheet per customer.
I don't see anything wrong with printing out from your online account.0 -
Anytime I have to send in bank account statements I print them out from online, it's the same as having the bank doing it anyway and your name/account number etc are all present so shouldn't be a problem and I haven't had anyone tell me I wasn't able to submit this way either.Credit Card: £796 Left/£900 October 2011 :eek:Store Card: £100 October 2011

I always thought they didnt accept your own print offs?
the bank can and will supply 3 months statements, the council will wait if it takes a few days.0 -
When I needed to provide statements I printed my own off online banking and then got the Bank to stamp them, they were accepted by the Council with no problem.

I'm with RBS and don't get paper statements now either. What I did was print off the three months statements from my account and attached an old one that had my full name, address etc on it. That way they could see all the details looking at the old ones and correspond them to the print outs with the account numbers and sort codes. They accepted them fine.
Though I would still phone up RBS and request three months full bank statements be sent out then if there are any problems with the print outs, you've not lost out of time."I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0 -
I think you were told porkies by the bank staff.
Yesterday I waited for ages behind a couple who were getting 3 months printed off from each of their accounts, I assume for the same purpose.
This was in the Perth branch of RBS, so it can be done.
It's only a game

In all honesty, it is discretionary. Smaller branches will probably do them for you there and then, yet I highly doubt city centre branches will as it precisely what was mentioned in your post - time consuming! Both for the customers and staff. If your branch has a reception team, ask them rather than going to the cashiers, but again, don't hold your breath.
PS. Calling the staff incompetent fools is a bit harsh - the ohsoclever customer would have kept the statements that come through the post or even ordered the statements beforehand.
When I was in branch, we were only allowed to print off 1 page.Anything that I do say, is strictly my opinion

With more and more people banking 'paperless' on-line the housing benefits people have had to modify their traditional stance on this. A couple of years ago I had loads of hassle, more recently I just printed out my statements with no comment whatever.~*~ If you don't need it, it isn't a bargain ~*~0

This sounds very strange because I bank with RBS and have never had any problems in requesting bank statements.
I have only only statements but they've been more than happy to print out as many as I needed in branch whilst I waited.
Could it be that the person dealing with you was just very lazy? who knows, hope it's sorted now0
