downloading 3D films onto usb storage?

is it possible to download 3D films via the net / or copy a disc etc and ut them onto a usb storage stick to then plug into the tv to watch them like this? or do you have to buy a blu ray 3d player? im just a little confused

It's very doubtful. You would need the recording to be 3D, you would then need a 3D TV that can watch the file type (which is also very doubtful).

All in all, very much doubt it.

Obviously, this depends on your TVs ability to playback 3D MPEG-4/DivX Plus HD/MPEG-MVC video files...

Having had a 3D telly for the past 6 months, i have found the best method of watching films in 3D is using the sky channel. Sky are showing more and more programs in 3D since launching the channel in October.
Currently i believe there is only 6 3D blu rays on the market and it wont be increasing that quickly due to the slow take up of 3d tv's
