    As I recall from her edible garden series most of her foraging consisted of begging veg off local allotment growers :D

  • Alys introduced me to the himalayan balsam... the one with the seeds that fly out in all directions. We used it as a seed for our bread last autumn and it was laaaaavely. I didn't see her forage much else though.

  • I wondered if anyone knows if it is ok to take wood from a tree that has blown down on the canal bank? Its a bit of a random question but i dont want to get into trouble taking it. Will it belong to British Waterways? Do i need permission do you think?
