welcome finance!!

i have recently put a claim in for my misold ppi with welcome through a 3rd party company, the claim was successfull and they offered me 5600 pounds (original loan was only 7500!!) i have accepted this offer and sent the form back to welcome by recorded delivery, it states that when they recieve the form they will pay by bacs. their local office said i would be paid at end of week. this was 2 weeks ago, and their complaints dept just gives me the runaround and cant seem to give me or commit to a date when they will pay?! how long could this take and are there any guidelines? how long can they mess me about for? please help!!!

I am not sure about the timescales when using companies to make a reclaim on your behalf, but if this was dealt with direct, I would give them about a month and if not received it by then chase them up, however, some may pay out before the month is out, keep at them and maybe someone will know more on this for you, good luck.

thanks alot freind i will keep at them, theyve told me now they working on a 2 week turnaround from acceptence to payout, its already been more but they said theyve only just received it (even though i know theyve had it longer as was sent recorded delivery!) but at least im getting somewhere!!

From the date they receivesettlement forms they usually pay within 8 weeks. Once this date has passed if the case ha gone through th ombudsman then get in touch with the adjudicator
