Re-Investing in an NS&I Account

My 3 year NS&I savings account at 1.35% above RPI ends in February.
They have offered me a further extension for 3 years at 1% over RPI
As a higher tax payer - not for long- I thin this is as good a deal I can get at the moment.
What are your views?

Inflation-proofing and near-instant access. Tax-free. RPI currently 4.8% and rising. No-brainer!0

It's as good a deal you can get at the moment even as standard rate tax payer unless you want to take on some (more) risk. I'll definitely be rolling it over.0
