  • Thats great news.

The daughter of a friend of mine worked for the Nationwide through an agency and they did a credit check after she'd worked for them for 6 months. During that time she'd had bonuses for reaching her sales targets every month and they had already offered her a permanent position when they did a credit check. She had a few late payments on her record but no CCJs of bankruptcy but was told to clear her desk AND was escorted from the building.

Hope its everything you want it to be!

Well they're going to run the check this morning to get it done and out of the way so by the end of the day we should be all sorted. Hopefully!

Really hope you get the job. There's such a huge shortage of jobs around at the moment... it would be a shame for you to be told you can't have the job after they had told you you'd got it. I had a call this morning for a similar job, but the first thing she asked was if I had any debt and because I have that was the telephone interview over straight away. The woman didn't even ask what level of debts or anything, just said thanks but no thanks more or less. There's no way I could possibly pay my debts off whilst I'm on JSA and like you I want to work to pay my debts off. Hopefully it will be good news for you though. Fingers crossed.
