Say NO to yes car credit!! .. can someone help please?

Hi there!
Can someone please help? Back in 2000/2001 i purchased a car via yes car credit.I chose a car out of 3 i was offered an on signing i was told that i had to have PPI,it wasn't optional.A while later i telephoned them to say that i wasn't in the same job and the new job i had started paid less. The lady said not a problem an sent me 3 options thru with regard to lower payments.I chose the lowest one an sent the form off.A few months later i was made redundant,so i phoned to make a claim. They replied that i had taken the PPI off of my car loan and i was unable to claim. At no point wotsoever was i made aware that the PPI had been taken off of my loan.I was harrassed continually by a staff member called william (at this point i was heavily pregnant),so i contacted CBA,an they helped me as much as they could. I had a car crash in 04 and my insurance money went straight to welcome, and they agreed that the insurance money from that would wipe out what i still owed them.(all in all,i was charged £10,000 approx for a second hand car)
What i want to know is,can i still apply for PPI charges to be refunded to me? I was cold called by "CONSUMER CREDIT SERVICES" in november, and they wanted me to pay £199 for a government pack, but i couldn't afford it. If anyone can help me,i will be so grateful,as i do not know where to turn or what to do.

    Hi there

I am so sorry to hear of all the trouble you have been through, and hope your ok now.

Personally I would give it a go with your reasons you have, and try to have a go yourself with all free help from this site, many have had problems using claims companies, not saying they're all the same but personally I would give it a go yourself, just complete the reclaiming questionnaire as on stage one below, this replaced the template letter on this site, keep copies of everything in case you need to refer to it again at some point.

They normally have 8 weeks to give a decision but may ask for more time.
You can of course write to them in your own words if you prefer to do this rather than the questionnaire, its up to you.

    Good luck with this.;)

There is no Govt pack. That is just unlawful sales talk. CCS have been shut down by the MoJ. So lucky escape.

YEP!! ... also, funnily enough, whilst i was on facebook i looked up the man i spoke with's name ... saxon manwairing.... i only did that as it was an unusual name, and there was 1! ..so i messaged him, asking if he was the same saxon manwairing i spoke to about my PPI claim...an he replied ...what??? ...an then BLOCKED me! (so i'm guessing he WAS the same 1 and was dodgy!)
