hi
anyone help with where i stand please?
i signed up for a credit card which automaticly gave my details to card protection insurance company. unfortunatly i moved house between the time of applying for card and recieving automatic enrollment in card insurance .they wrote to me at old address, after id moved ,saying unless i cancelled policy in 14 days it would go ahead.i never recieved letter having moved . i only noticed a strangly titled dd going from my account recently which only goes out every 6 months .
anyway tesco (who card is with) say once theyve sold details on its nothing to do with them. card protection people ( cpp) were at first helpfull but now say i recieved letter giving me standard 14 days to cancell and its tesco i need to contact .
i never realy signed up just didnt cancell as i never recieved letter.
gggrrrrrrrr !

Signing up for a Tesco credit card does not automatically enrol you with CPP.
It is an option you can select when applying for the credit card.
Not much you can do now just cancel so you don't pay any more.0 -
only in as much as ticking the agree to terms and conditions box which is a condition of application . just been on form now and theres no seperate mention of card insurance0

I don't know if you have agreed or not, or if it was slipped in after you took out the card.

We took out a Tesco credit card last week and it definitely asked if we wanted the card protection and to tick a box if we did.0
