My daughters all loved "The Wishing Chair" set of books and the "Magic Faraway Tree" all by Enid Blyton as well as the "Mr. Pinkwhistle "books."This site is addictive!"

my dd is 7 and is just discovering the secret 7 and famous 5 books, since her sisters seem to have almost every enid blyton book she wrote i think she will be busy for quite a while.
she also likes books on how things work and question and answer books0 -
Tales from end cottage, I can't emember the author, but I always wanted to live in that house with the dogs and cats and chickens.....

My 6yr old Daughter lives, eats and sleeps 'Felicity wishes' set of books. She has set up a 'sparkle fairies club' at school to play out the stories. Also she enjoys the lives of the mice in 'Brambly hedge' by Jill Barklem. The ball in the winters story is sooo magical!
