Battery operated Christmas/Fairy lights

we have 2 sets of battery operated flickering candles. They look lovely but the batteries don't last long. We invested in rechargeable which are much cheaper in the long run0

Poundland have been selling them for the last couple of years. They have a display to show you what the different styles look like.0

Blame for that as I seem to have accidentally resurrected it:rotfl:
However the information is still very useful0 -
I like lights all year round (around the mirror etc) and a couple of years ago I discovered copper wire fairy lights which are fantastic. The wire bends the micro lights around anything, the actual light parts can go in water. They were cheap as well (£2 or 3.99) However, it gets tedious turning them and candles on and off every night.
I now have the same copper wire lights and lovely candles that are on a timer and come with remote if you don't want to use timer, I love them. The timer doesn't take any setting up. It works by whatever time you put them on for the first time, they will then stay on for 6 hours and turn themselves off until the same time the next night. Or as I say you can just work them by remote.
They are a bit dearer, around 4 or 5 pound depending how many lights you want.
These cost me £12.99 for the actual tree (no more looking for spare sockets)

Last year I've got some in ALDI, relatively cheap. But they haven't started it yet - I've been there last weekend. Another god place to check out is "bm supermarket" (google if you have one nearby).0

I got some last year from Primark, they're still going! I put them up on my wall and they make my bedroom look so cozy0

Got some of these last year.
They were really good. £2.50 for 20 lights.
