Most of the Gardeners I know down here are mahogany brown, and only ever wear shorts and a vest (even in winter) me on the other hand would frighten the Mink if I took my top off. Thanks to my Celtic genes I burn with the light that comes on when I open the fridge. It can be 80+ degrees and Handy is in Jeans and Jumper. The sight of my pink flaccid body is one that would frighten the Women and Children

Hope I haven't ruined the illusion.

Good Evening All. Well it nearly happened, when the temperature got over 20 degrees this afternoon, Handy took his Jumper Off  This morning I was working with Tara, she is our local Charlie Dimmock who comes in one morning a week to help with the pruning and weeding. Now theres a gardener I would like to see take their vest offShe has a tan anyone would be proud of.
Erme, you can't surely want me to dispose of the Seagulls? after all they are protected these days. (winged sky rats :rotfl:)
But if they are giving you a problem and Handy never suggested this:lipsrseal An old Navy mate told me on long voyages, for amusement they used to throw the gulls an Alka - Seltzer wraped in a peice of bread. The Chemistry is simple the Highly acidic contents of a Gulls Guts with the Alkaline Alka -Seltzer produces a rapid usually explosive build up of gas. The Seagull reaches supersonic speed when it breaks wind, or well you can guess the rest an Umbrella is a required accessory :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm OK still plodding along. The weekend gales will give me a weeks extra work tidying up and repairing damage. Apart from that not a lot to report really, still in the brown smelly stuff but at least my heads sticking out at the moment.:rotfl::DMother Nature Don't Draw Straight lines, We are Broken Moulds in Life's Grand Design, We look a Mess but we're doing fine,
