Good news, Ames, hope you can find another appropriate referee! You must have some kind of valid academic qualifications to meet the entry requirements, any of them recent? If not, then you might consider doing some kind of short course in a related field as an Access course? That's the sort of thing people do if they have been out of education for a long time.
Think positive - lots of "mature" students do degree courses, and if they can get in then so can you.One life - your life - live it!0 -

I've got the qualifications, I know the grades and subjects but can't remember the exam boards, and I don't know where the certificates are. I might be able to find out by doing a SAR to each exam board, or getting in touch with my old school and college if I have to. I've been in education ever since A levels, I'm hoping that I got into Leeds uni before (but had to drop out due to health problems that are dealt with now) will go in my favour. With the OU I haven't passed a course in 18 months - I've finally admitted defeat and realised that I need face to face teaching for social sciences. I don't want to do an Access course, because if I start this year fees are about 3k (1.3k part time), if I start next year they jump to 9k. I'm more than qualified for the course, it's just finding the proof of it!ifwisheswerehorses... wrote: »Anyone free to bash this spammer, thank you x
