Just so that you don't feel as though you are talking to yourself If .....
but I hope everyone has had a better Sunday than this one seems to have had :rotfl:If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours0 -
Oh I've missed that greeting while I've been away! And the monkey's morning, although I haven't seen that since I've been back.
Hi Ames, I haven't been around much neither has the Monkey. I must call him tomorrow as I haven't heard from him in a while, Hope he's OK?
I spend a fair bit of my time on the forum next door these days, with a lot of our old mates from MSE. But I can't give up on NTN, two many mates here as well.:A

Think we need a fire in here today Spoony
Thanks, If, that fire has made a big difference today:DEvening.
I've had a good day - actually made it out of the house! I had two cups of coffee in Starbucks (total cost £1, I love my SB card!) over three hours, then called into a greek cafe for a salad to have with a lamb steak for tea. The portions are huuuuuuge and I'm thinking about instead of buying food in, going there once a day to eat, it's enough food for a day and takes hours to get through it all. It's not especially cost effective but it'll mean I'll get up dressed and out every day and after all it's what I get DLA for - things that'll help with my problems.
And since I'm on a high, once I've eaten I'm going to get on with some housework.
Good news about today, Ames, and it seems as though that might be a good plan. Hope it works out.Oh I've missed that greeting while I've been away! And the monkey's morning, although I haven't seen that since I've been back.
Numpty pops in occasionally to say hello, Ames, not that often thoughThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Hi Spoon How are you?
Mrs Handy was feeling cold tonight, so I lit the wood burner.
It's that hot in here now I'm dripping all over me keyboard. Even the doglets have gone in the porch where it's cooler.

Hi Handy
I'm good, thanks, how are you doing (apart from being too hot, of course).
That's the trouble with us women, we feel the cold:D:D
Funny old weather, indeed, it's been raining here all day and about 10 deg, I'm hoping we haven't had our summer already:eek:
How are things with the family, are they still harrassing you?The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Yes and no It's quiet at the Moment, Stepson who borrowed a load of cash is keeping silent. I think he's gone back to the circus. Step DD and SIL have got a new dog (Staffie) to go with the 2 toddlers and it is a chewer and bite'er. SIL is taking the urine out of being on a DMP, as the only time we hear from them is when they need something, like clothes for the kids, or when the put up on facebook what they have just done or bought on ebay. The stress is doing Mrs Handy's head in.
Apart from that this Grumpy old Handyman is alright, it's just the others.:D
At least I can keep sane by dropping in here every so often to see how the rest of Handy's world is faring.

Families, Handy, who'd have 'em:mad:, at least we can choose our friends. You're far from grumpy, but I can see why they make you so occasionally.
Poor Mrs H, I'm not surprised the stress of that lot is getting to her:(The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time
