E: 10/02 Design the official Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon shirt Telegraph

The Royal Parks Foundation, the charity for London’s eight Royal Parks, is giving readers of The Telegraph the exclusive chance to create a new design for the 2011 Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon running shirt.

The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon is one of the most scenic city runs in the world, with a beautiful 13.1 mile autumnal route through four of London’s magnificent Royal Parks and past some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks.

Thanks to leading sportswear supplier, Mizuno, every participant in the race receives a soft, breathable running shirt made from sustainable bamboo and recycled polyester. Each year, the back of the shirt features a new design and today the Royal Parks Foundation is launching a competition to find an inspiring design to take to the streets for 2011.

The winning creative will be worn proudly by thousands of runners taking part in the half marathon and Pulse3K (a race for 11-16 year olds) on Sunday, October 9, 2011. The chosen designer will also win two coveted Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon race places, a magnum of champagne and two VIP invitations to rub shoulders with the stars in the exclusive hospitality tent.

To create your own inspired design, visit www.royalparkshalf.com to download the running shirt template and discover more about the event. Entries will be judged by a panel of experts from the Royal Parks Foundation, Mizuno and The Telegraph's Fashion Editor Hilary Alexander.
