Agree with Lego, or some sort of car/action figure. Or maybe something arty/crafty like paint, pens, stickers, play-doh etc.0

My son is in year 1 and most of his friends are 6. The most popular gifts have been lego, transformers and gormitti. I am hoping gormitti eggs are still in favour because I'm giving 2 to a boy this weekend.
All lego is good, but the boys in my sons class like indiana jones lego, or star wars lego the best. Tesco usually sell T-shirts of both of those too, which always go down well.52% tight0 -
Also, expensive at £2 but M&S do a transformers card which folds out into a poster. I got this for a party this weekend because when I asked my son what this boy likes he said that he always goes for Optimus Prime at playtime.52% tight0

Lego, or a construction set, such as meccano, or kid knex. Action figures are good too.0

Our eldest was 6 at the weekend - star wars lego is the favourite but its expensive - tesco do a couple of small sets for around £10 each. The other present he had which he liked was a Zibit robot - little remote control robot that runs around the floor. They are about £13 on Amazon - probably not that great value for money but he likes his!Adventure before Dementia!0

Lego, Knex, anything at all to do with Star Wars, Ben 10 or Gormitti, art materials, reading books at appropriate level (you can get books that feature Spiderman, Shrek etc. etc. etc. so not quite as boring as it sounds - try the big supermarkets) are good for boys as they do seem slow at reading compared with girls so anything to encourage it. All that would be appreciated by my 6 year old and his 4 year old brother!0

Lego, Ben 10 or some kind of game - Kerplunk or similar (so long as you know what he already has...).'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain'0
