I got the kitchen towel from Farmfoods, and it lasted for ages.

Got the 2ply toilet roll from a pound shop, and I didn't like it all, will try and look out for the 3ply next time.
  • We had 1 batch of 3 ply that was not as good as usual. The next time it was the same old Nicky. I guess sometimes you get a bad batch.
Agree on the Kitchen Towel it seems to last forever - much longer than any other brands, including the big Plenty rolls.
  • I love the Kitchen roll - I get it in Farmfoods. Tried the loo roll but found that it blocked up the toilet - alot of toilet rolls do that to my loo - for that reason I stick to plain Andrex (the aloe vera, puppies on a roll and quilted all block up my loo too).

I always thought the different colours were different scents as I seem to remember they smelled slightly different, but I've checked and these are the Nicky elite range - 3 ply rolls with lotion & fragrance.

I thought these were great at first - a real feel of luxury :) BUT....after a week or so, I noticed the bathroom always seemed to be dusty and later realised it was the loo rolls causing it.

COuld we list Nicky stockists: I know Farmfoods do it (but don't have one - is it both 2 ply and 3 ply they stock?) Wilkinsons I think do the 2 ply, who else?

Home Bargains stock Nicky Loo roll. They have different colours and stock 9 rolls and I think 18 roll packs.

Was it 3 ply or only 2 ply? There is a massive difference between the two. I use the 3 ply but would not use the 2 ply, bought them once accidentally.
    It is the 3 ply.
I compared with an old roll we have in our 2nd loo, and it's noticeably thinner.

I'll buy some more, incase it was a bad batch.

I think Nicky is fab stuff for the money and when compared to Andrex and the like is far better IMO and so much cheaper, especially for the purpose it is made for. I always buy two 9 packs together for £4.00 and laugh when I see the 'offers' on loo roll in the big supermarkets making out the customers is getting a bargain.

It is the 3ply the same as Farmfoods. £2.00 for the 9 rolls and £3.99 for the 18 rolls.
