Hi,
There are a lot of branded, cheap BNWT clothes on ebay. Where do they come from. Are they nicked from the store by workers. I can understand a few might be people who buy them, change their mind and put the tags back on, but 9/10 you can take them back to the store.
Just curious.

I buy things, shove the in the cupboard and forget I have them so sell them on later or I might buy something but the cost of sending it back can be quite high so it is sometimes just as easy to sell on ebay. The other factor is buying something I plan to lose a few lbs so it looks better but don't get round to losing the weight.
Other people buy things cheap in the sales and sell them on for a profit on ebay. A bit of scouring round T Maxx or M&M direct can lead to some bargains e.g. £50 hunter wellies that can be sold on for more or designer handbags in TK Maxx or bargain watches or jewellery on Amazon to be sold on later. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
i've got 5 things on ebay atm bnwt, all things i've bought put it in my wardrobe and now i don't like them or given up waiting for them to fit,
some have been bought in the sales so couldn't return them or i've just left it to long.
it might actually look even more dodge because they are a mixture of a 10 12's and a 14!!0 -

I've sold a few BNWT clothes. Mine are mostly baby/kids clothes that were gifts not to my taste or simply outgrown before they were able to be used. I remember taking some baby vests back to M&S once and being told as I didn't have a receipt (they were a gift) then I could either get about a pound for them (in the intervening time they'd gone on sale and you can only get the most recent ticket price) or I could put them on Ebay! I've also sold one or two things of my own that I got in the sales for so little that it wasn't worth the hassle of returning them but then I get around to decluttering and decide I want them out the house after all so... on to Ebay it is.0

You can buy clearance clothes by the pallet/container load. Sometimes you are supposed to remove labels before resale though I believe (I don't personally trade in clothes, too much hassle). They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

in some shops sale items with big reduction are sold on non return basis.Teamwork means.......never having to take all the blame yourself0

If you try to return an item but haven't got the receipt to places like New Look or Asda, and the item has been reduced they will only refund you the cost it is in the sale.
Sadly I've suffered this a few times recently.
Purchased an item from new look which had a hole in it, took it back, and the replacement which was exactly the same and the same size was to small.
Took it back but it had been reduced and they didn't have any others.
Also with the BNWT baby clothing, sometimes it is due to the parents expecting say a boy, and purchasing boys clothes and then having a girl.
Sometimes it might be becuase people are pinching em, but other times I think its just due to people not being able to return them or getting them cheap in sales.0 -
