I wonder if all stores are starting 90% off today. I have an SA friend who works for Boots whom I texted last night and she said their store is not starting tomorrow. She worked yesterday and is on the tills today. She has never let me down with the correct info on the 75% sale start date over the last few years so I don't think it's worth the hassle in going in the hope of picking up some more xmas paper and cards. Of course if anyone on here goes to their local, let us know if you manage to buy anything nice please!

Definitely on! Just wrapping paper, cards and things with bits missing - and overpriced sweets even at 90% off. Came away with 2 rolls of wrap (4m - ok for birthdays), a couple of Fearne compact mirrors and a keyring. Paid with points, so sort of free shopping.... :j

  • Thanks Op managed to pop in my main boots, which only had a bit of wrapping paper left, but the smaller 2 near me had some chocs left so I treated myself. The small boots still had 75% off signs up but still went through at 90% and the staff seemed surprised, so I think it will be on everywhere.
  • I managed to get a load of presents this morning, they had mark hill sets, subuto (not spelt right sorry) mug sets, wallets etc. Loads of photo presents, strictly, gift warp, crackers and religion gift sets in mine. All 90% off.
If you want the rainbow you have to go through the rain.

Went into the St Albans branch this morning and managed to pick up a few things. For anyone interested they still have the Strictly sets (now worth it for £4.50), loads of Religion sets, Weenicon things, Lee Stafford giftsets, Disney Tinkerbell giftsets (bought one of these for my daughter for £1.30), some sweets, cards and pencil cases. At the till they also have lots of jewellery reduced to £1/£2 - managed to pick up a boxed set with earrings and a necklace reduced from £18 to £2. Hope this helps someone! :D

    Speke this morning had:
LOTS of those Religion sets for £1.50 and £2.50
LOTS of assorted empty cosmetic cases / purses etc for between 50p and 80p
Photo frames, luggage tags, etc etc all around 50p
Waybuloo and Buzz PJ cases £1.50
Loads of Christmas cards at about 30p-50p, lots of tags at 10p and 20p
Little ELC pram toys for 60p I think
3rd and bird tambourine bubble bath can't remember how much
Bottles of Guiness with a set of cufflinks £1
    Subbuteo wallets £1
Subbuteo cufflinks can't remember how much
    Weenicons Elvis mugs 60p
Weenicons mouse mats and mouse £1.50
    Fearne compact mirrors 80p?
Lots of sweets for around 25p to 30p

Other than that, nothing really left. On Sunday they had dozens and dozens of SCD cases left which have mysteriously disappeared.... no way have they all been sold, I think Boots are hiding them until they can sneakily put them back out at full price once we've all "forgotten" about them!!!

I was in the st enoch one last week and had a look to see if there was any shelves of 75% stuff left having been in and bought stuff the week before. Absolutely nothing - all the shelves had been cleared. W

hen I asked an employee she had said there was some stuff left when she had left the shop the day before but the shelves had obviously been cleared overnight. They were putting sun tan lotion etc in its place. So I wouldn't hold much hope for Glasgow. But please let us know if you pop in and find anything!

Back from my local, they hadn't put up the signs yet and were cutting up small 90% sale signs this morning to stick on the 75% sale banners.

Loads of strictly vanity cases, lots of fearne hat boxes, subbuteo (sp?) a couple of religion sets, cards, wrap and tags, damaged crackers, lots of the biscuit cylinder tins all with opened tabs though, paris hilton gift sets (the ones with lashes, eye mask and fake nails) and a few other straggly bits.

Clearance section has been updated too, not quite as good as 90% but I picked up a bed rail for my daughter for less than half price

Lots of donkey adoption sets, balm balm lip balms, carnivorous plants, sunglasses, suncreams, vitamins and tablets, hairbrushes a few gift sets and some toys.

A woman came along and swept the shelf clean of anything suitable for children into her basket. So the ebayers are out in force unless she had alot of children to buy the same item for....
    Comping wishlist for 2017
    1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuff
