Only Whetstone branch has a 90% off shelf, plently of gift wrap and some gift tags dotted around. LOADS of 2011 calendars & weenicons items and that is pretty much it. A few travel photo frames down to 50p. MOST IF NOT ALL IS USELESS AND NOT WORTH 10% OF THE PRICE in my opinion.
So pleased to get some chocolate coins @North Finchley, I found 6 off a hanging display next to the confectionary/sandwiches section! All Gok sets gone, probably sold during the 75% period. Quite pleased that I got something that I will use!

anybody manage to get anything in glasgow???
  • Was about an aisles worth in Taunton. Loads sweets & aa guides, quite a few weecon things, religion sets, cosmetic bags, paper, cards-pretty much what is left in most stores by the sound of it.

I got some choc truffles (think might open them in a min!) Lee stafford set for 12yr sister and can't believ I got it but actually bought Paris Hilton set (mainly for the nails!) Who would pay £25 for that. Gutted there were no more Strictly, Gok or fearne left

    Thanks OP

    cheers

Many thanks to OP, I paid £25 for jewelery with a top price of £135, delighted, thats loads of presents in my pressie drawer and lots of nice bits for me : )
The 90% was mainly photo stuff, callenders and baubles. Got some nice handbag mirrors for 80p, and some sherbits for 30p. Oh and a leather case thingy for holding a pass for 80p, that will go in with a secret santa present for work next year.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

hmmm i still have a few orders that i made from the 75% off online sale to collect at store... i wonder if it's worth asking for a refund & rebuying them? would they let me do that?

I think I was just lucky with the SA. I genuinely was going to get a refund, but I just jokingly said I'd buy it back if it'd been reduced again and she said it will be as all Xmas stock was 90% off. So she refunded it and sold it back to me! The other item I collected I didn't even bother doing the same with I was happy with it's 75% off price so didn't want to push my luck. I've been turned down before when I've asked to do this in other shops as they argue that you were happy to pay the original/original sale price.....

I'd say it might be worth just throwing in a cheeky comment like "It's a shame I hadn't waited, it'd be 90% off now" and see if they bite! I had a chap serve me a while ago upstairs, and he was particularly unhelpful so if it'd been him I would have just got my refund and not bothered buying it back. I'm still waiting to hear back about a refund that he ballsed up on.

Thanks so much OP - I didn't think there'd be anything left in my local as there wasn't a lot when I was in last week but they must've had some returns and things as there was some stuff I hadn't seen before - spent just under a tenner and came out with 2 bags full!!

My favourite buy was 3 sanctuary gift sets - a sanctuary spa essentials body wash and body lotion packaged together in a box for £1 each - to be fair the boxes are all broken and not much good but for that price I'm just glad to get the products:j
