    i use amazon alot but mainly for buying my children story book's. but i even find in these the prices jump around alot. ok so i'm only talking about a book which was £2.79 , going up to maybe £3.49, so not a huge do , but price do seem to change alot.

    Amazon are a business so can charge what they like.

    If people want to pay that then that is up to them.

    If you don't like it then don't buy.

    It is called price flexing and they will charge what they think people will pay.

  • There was a watch i was going to buy yesterday that i saw last week but it has doubled in price, cant afford it now :( so ended up buying a hoover instead haha

    That is all very well. But I got caught out myself yesterday.

    The item I wanted was £79.99 yesterday. I needed to check with someone that it was ok. This morning I went to order after getting the ok it is now £94.75. Even though the price has been around the £79.99 price mark for a while as the item is in my wish list.

    Of course I will not be buying that that price. I have two choices sit it out or look else where to see if it is cheaper.

    I usually price things on amazon through http://www.getinvisiblehand.com/

    I go to invisible hand and click in the 'Union Jack' button.
    I then click on the Amazon.co.uk link and start looking for my item.

    When I go to the items page a little window on top of the Amazon Window starts looking and if there is a better price it shows it up.
