Can my gf get a replacement birth certificate without paying?

Mrsbritishboy recently moved in and has mislaid her birth certificate, and we now need it, along with her 2 boys ones to apply for passports, been told they are £15 each, but wondered if theres a way of getting them without paying?

You have to pay. Depends on what cert you want as to what you pay. My sister only had a short BC and needed a full one for a passport...she had to pay.
You could have aother search annd see if they are hidden in a box or drawer somewhere.0 -
No, you have to pay but it's £9.25 each, not £15.
You can order from here https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/ or apply at the registry office where the births were registered. If that's local, it will be quicker.0 -
Most register offices only charge about £9 for a copy certificate. Ring the one where they were born.0
