I am not sure if I am posting this in the right forum.. apologies if it's not.
Just wondering if anyone could advise me. Basically, my cousin who lives abroad won 2 logo designing competitions through the website logomyway. Both prizes are a high amount of money.
Logomyway have said that they need to transfer the prize money to his paypal account but paypal accounts for people in the country he lives can only send money, not receive.
He has asked me if he can use my paypal account to transfer the money into (and I send the money to him some other way.)
I am willing to do this for him if it is legitimate, but I'm quite a suspicious person. I can't find much information on logomyway way online. If I was to give my paypal details (the email address) to logomyway, there's no way they could swindle me is there?
An info greatly appreciated. x

Why don't you set up a separate paypal account with a different email addy that isn't linked to bank accounts as such?
For him to 'use' your paypal account to pay others he would need to know your passwords to get into it.Payment a day challenge: £236.69
Jan Shopping Challenge: £202.09/£250
Frugal Living Challenge: £534.64/150000 -

Thanks guys. Wornoutmumoftwo : My cousin wouldn't need to log into it. I'd simply give him the email address to pass onto this logo competitions site so they can pay the prizes into my account. I would then log into my account then probably put the prize money into my bank account and transfer the money to his bank account.
Yeh I did think of setting up a separate paypal account linked to no bank account.0 -

Which country is this?0 -
https://www.logomyway.com comes up on the top in a Google search.
They have a huge website .
It says they are based in the US and also gives an email address to contact them.
Could you or your cousin email them to make sure it's all legit?0 -

Hilarious! Yes I trust my cousin 100% it this logomyway I was unsure of.
It's all sorted now. Logomyway have paid the prizes into my paypal account. All I need to figure out is the easiest and cheapest way of transferring the money over to my cousin.
Thanks all for your help. x0 -
As far as i know, all pay pal accounts can send and receive money as long as they are verified.0
