Hiya
Bought a Laptop last year, but didn't get the Office disk. I think its office 2000 installed, but every time i want a different template in word it always says 'feature not installed can be installed from disk'. How can i upgrade to 2003? Is there an update or would i have to install and buy a full new package? How much is it likely to cost for an office 2003 package?

Do you have documentation about what was included in the price of the laptop. It's rare to get Office - it's more usually Works. If you don't have the disk, you'll need to buy a new one. If you qualify for the student edition, that's the cheapest way of getting it. Otherwise, you might pick up one cheap from ebay.0

There isn't an update from 2000 to 2003 you would need to upgrade to or buy office 2003. If you are a student you can get it a lot cheaper as Tawnyowls mentioned. Might be worth the wait for office 20070
