    Which hotel is this?

This modern 4-star hotel is in the heart of Paris, only a short walk from the iconic Eiffel Tower. You can choose from the hotel’s 2 restaurants for dinner or grab a drink in the bar. And, take advantage of its spa and heated indoor pool after a day of exploring central Paris.

    Thanks

Trying secret hotel deals for the first time.

I want to visit Dublin for St. Patrick's day. DETAIL as expected is limited. Any ideas as to which hotel it might be? I think it might be the Shelbourne.

Many thanks for any help you can offer

  • "Situated in the heart of the city, this grand Edwardian 4-star hotel is just a short walk from the Palace Theatre and G-MEX Centre, and close to the city’s main shopping district and bars. Relax and take advantage of the hotel’s pool, gym and sauna, and treat yourself to its award-winning dining"

    Thanks

ive read Martins tips on Cheap Hotel Deals, but a question please.

If you want to visit a particular location at a particular time of the year, one of the busiest times for that area how do you actually go about finding that illusive deal? Follow the cheap hotel deal sites on a daily basis, or are they more likely to occure days before the event.

I'm trying to find a 4 or 5 star hotel in Dublin for St Patrick's Day, 17 March. My normal place to stay, Gresham, usually has rooms at a little over £100 but Patrick' Day they've jumped to £193! It is not specifically the Gresham I'm talking about I'm only using that as an example and wondering are there times of the year when you just won't find a deal?

You simply aren't going to get cheap deals on heavy occupancy days, hotels know they can shift their inventory without trouble so have no incentive to take part in such promotions for those dates.
