are you wanting to trail a wire between the room, or go wireless for the second PC?
this is a wireless one..

If the PC furthest away from the phone point doesn't have a wireless adapter, you'll need something like this, they sometimes get bundled with the router.

You will need a router AND a network card unless you have wireless capability built in. I am by no means an expert but I know that much. A wireless router will cost about £35 and a card about £25 if son has desktop rather than laptop you might have to use a USB connection. The best thing to do is go and see what computer he has, how old it is and anymore info you can find. Put all the details on here are someone who knows what they are talking about will help you in no time.0

PC World are offering a Linksys bundle for £40 at the moment with a broadband router and USB adaptor that would be suitable for an NTL connection as described above0
