Hi, i scrapped my old Toyota over 15 months ago and with that cancelled my insurance, i have been named as a driver on my wife's insurance in all that time but now i am ready to buy another car.
How will the lack of personal insurance effect my NCD? Also would it be better to call and arrange motor insurance over the phone rather than online for the above reason?
Thanks

Generally NCB is valid for 2 years so you should be OK.
If you want to use the named driver bit either talk your OH’s insurance company or see a broker0
