Looks like an alternative to Egg Money Manager and First Direct's offerring. Uses Yodlee (never heard of them) to store account details.

You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -
Thanks. A few snippets there. And yes, I could have found these myself;)0

There doesn't seem to be any threads dedicated to the site yet, perhaps this will be the one! Sorry I can't actually help with your query - I'll stick with Egg Money Manager until they ever turn it off. You're spelling is effecting me so much. Yes, I'm using EMM. My Egg accounts are empty at the moment so am wondering how long they will let me use it!
I think a big security advantage of EMM (based on ewise?) is that all data is stored on your PC rather than a remote computer. But its a bit clunky. It doesn't like my Halifax accounts very much!0 -
I think my Egg savings account has had £1.01 in it for the last two years

Yes, I wouldn't like my personal data stored on a remote machine if it wasn't strictly required, although with all the browser exploits available these days, is it really that much safer? Who knows.
I had a problem this morning with EMM and Halifax, some message like "Unable to load C:\logs\whatserface\halifax.txt". Huh? Why are you trying to read from my C: drive???You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. eWise (the people who provide Egg with the software, and actually provide the same service themselves for free) store none of your personal data on remote machines. The account numbers, passwords and other data used to log into your account are actually stored on your local machine. As far as I've been able to tell all they store remotely is just the institutions you've entered. (e.g. 1 account at Barclay's, 2 with LLTSB etc.) If you attempt to log into a machine that doesn't have your personal data stored on it, you just get a blank list of those insitutions, and you're prompted to enter your details in again.
Not sure about that c:\logs... message though - it's unlikely to have anything to do with eWise; they store the data in your registry (or in a 'randomly' named file on a USB pen if you're using their service and choose to store your data there instead.)Conjugating the verb 'to be":

Sorry, I can't have made my point clear - I knew that Egg stored passwords etc on your local machine, that's actually why I prefer them.
When I talked about storing passwords remotely, I was actually referring to grumpycrab's earlier comment:grumpycrab wrote: »I think a big security advantage of EMM (based on ewise?) is that all data is stored on your PC rather than a remote computer.
But I didn't know about eWise offering the same service for free, that's interesting! Thanks for that. You're spelling is effecting me so much. I've been using it for well over, erm, at least 4 years. Probably closer to 6. And they have about 100% less downtime than Egg
I guess they make their money selling the software to the likes of Egg and FD.Conjugating the verb 'to be":

Yes, that's a new one today. Different from the usual!Paul_Herring wrote: »eWise (the people who provide Egg with the software, and actually provide the same service themselves for free)...
What's always put me off using eWise directly is their terrible website. (Old info, bad spelling and bad links.)0 -

To be honest I've never really explored their website recently. I have that page bookmarked, and it's the only one I use.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
