Harvey=liars

Im really upset to the point that im crying at the moment.

Ordered a £1000 dining table and chair set from Harveys 2nd week of November. Was told this would be delivered in 10 weeks. Fair enough.

Then 2 weeks ago i missed a phone call from 'Harkers' for the delivery slot. I was told because i missed the phone call my table was taken off the van because the local store manager i brought the table from told them to take it off.

I was promised today as a delivery date and have spent the last hour taking down my old one. Harkers ring to say they cant deliver because they have no stock.

There excuse is harveys have over allocated the stock. Its first come first serve and they ran out of this table last week. When i asked why they never contacted me last week i was told we didnt know we ran out of stock.

I feel like a £1000 has been tipped down the drain. Now im dreading going into store to get my refund. I just want my money back. Its been 12 weeks. To me theyve broken the contract and given my table to some one else. If its first come first serve ive been in the que since November!

So sad, i should have just brought a cheap ikea table take away same day. If i got this table for free i could have understood. :(
