Anyone know a good quality but reasonable hotel/ b+b's in Amsterdam?

Looking to book a few nights away in Amsterdam to celebrate my birthday in a few months. Got my flights (free from Air miles), now just need accomadation.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I'd appreciate any advice/suggestions

try hotelconnect, they have a range of hotels from 2* to 5*, some with special offers for various dates, I've had some really good deals from them. Also 11% on Quidco and Topcashback

I've also had good deals to Amsterdam from hotelconnect.

Last time I got a 5* hotel, 3 nights for the price of 2, 50% off the booking and an extra 5% off for doing the booking online - all for less than the price of a 3* hotel in the centre of Amsterdam. The hotel was the Okura, which is about 15-20 minutes from the centre of Amsterdam by tram.

I went to the Delta Hotel a few years ago.......DO NOT STAY THERE!!! It was horrendous and when I complained the customer service was horrendous too. Definately avoid!

The Ibis is really central - just next to the train station. Not sure of current prices, but worth a look.

Not exactly right in the centre but pretty close and on a main tram line - the room rates are supposed to be very reasonable for the quality of hotel.
