Did anyone get £34.99 gameboy micro from gameplay?

I order gameboy micro (green) posted here couple of weeks ago. Order was accepted and confirmed by email but heard nothing more so sent email to customer services yesterday.

Got reply today to say they are having difficulty sourcing them and chances are "grim". I am fuming because they did not bother to contact me until I approached them and this is my son's Christmas present so sent email back saying not happy with "customer service" and asked how they would remedy this.

Has anyone else had any luck?

Hi YOUNGE1. I'm in the same position (i.e. ordered a couple of weeks ago and have heard nothing so far). I haven't emailed them though, so thanks for the update!

Oh no...sorry i think that was my post....
No I haven't received mine either but kept checking my account and the delivery date has been moved back twice...!!!
I have bought games for this, so have decided to buy from comet and look to see if I can cancel my order...
A bit miffed but they do a bundle deal...so slightly softens the blow...

Not your fault at all.
They should honour the deal they advertise.

I think I'll shop elsewhere from now on though!

I cancelled my order the same day as i ordered it - as realised wanted a silver one (for a present). They took the money out of my account a few days AFTER even though it all cancelled on their site.

I emailed them...no reply, so i phoned them 4 or 5 days ago ''yes sir, i'll sort that tomorrow...'' still not back in my account :mad: :mad:

They emailed me back to say Nintendo are stopping production of gameboy micros so will not be able to get more stock and everyone else must be selling old stock.
I have therefore cancelled my order and told them I will not be ordering from them again. They have not taken money from my account though.

Send a letter recorded delivery telling them that they have 7 days to refund your money or you may take legal action. Read up on the distance selling regulations, that's what gives you the legal right to cancel in this case.
